AiSLE App Terms of Service

Welcome! These Terms form a legally binding contract between you and AiSLE App, LLC (“AiSLE App,” “we,” “us”). By accessing or using our app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use AiSLE App.

1. Definitions

  • “Service” – the AiSLE App mobile & web apps, APIs, content, and related sites.
  • “User” / “you” – anyone who accesses the Service.
  • “Content” – text, images, recipes, meal plans, grocery data, or any other material.

2. Eligibility

You must be 13 years or older (16 + in the EEA) and capable of entering a binding contract. If you are using AiSLE App on behalf of an entity, you affirm you have authority to bind that entity.

3. Account Registration

  • Provide accurate, current information.
  • Keep your credentials confidential.
  • You’re responsible for all activity under your account, including via Google / Apple ID sign‑ins.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

  • Certain features require a paid plan (monthly or annual).
  • Prices are displayed in‑app and may change on 30‑days’ notice.
  • Auto‑renewal: subscriptions renew unless you cancel in your app‑store settings at least 24 hours before the end of the term.
  • Trials convert to paid unless canceled before trial end.
  • We follow each platform’s refund rules (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play).

5. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non‑commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

6. User Content

You may upload pantry photos, notes, ratings, etc.

  1. Ownership – You retain rights to your content.
  2. License to AiSLE App – You grant us a worldwide, royalty‑free license to store, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service.
  3. AI Training – De‑identified, aggregated data may be used to enhance our machine‑learning models.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Reverse‑engineer or scrape our code or models
  • Upload malicious code or unlawful content
  • Violate any applicable law or third‑party right
  • Exploit the AI to generate disallowed content (hate, sexual, or medical disinformation)
  • Use the Service to build a competing product

8. Health & Nutrition Disclaimer

AiSLE App provides algorithmic meal suggestions only. We are not licensed nutritionists, dietitians, or medical professionals. Always consult a qualified professional for medical or dietary advice. Reliance is at your own risk.

9. Third‑Party Services

AiSLE App may integrate with Instacart, Apple Health, and other services. We are not responsible for those services’ acts or omissions. Your use of them is governed by their terms.

10. Intellectual Property

All AiSLE App trademarks, logos, and copyrighted content are owned by AiSLE App LLC or its licensors. You must obtain written permission to use them.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time in‑app. Sections 6–15 survive termination.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as‑is” and “as available.” AiSLE App disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not guarantee error‑free operation or specific health outcomes.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AiSLE App and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AiSLE App and its officers, directors, and employees from any claim, demand, or damages arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • Governing law – State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws principles.
  • Arbitration – Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Raleigh, NC, under the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules.
  • Class‑action waiver – Disputes must be brought individually, not as a class.

(If you are an EEA consumer, you may be entitled to bring proceedings in your local jurisdiction.)

16. Modifications

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted in‑app and on our site with at least 14 days’ notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
